Marketing System and Market Integration Analysis of Fresh Fish on Bajomulyo Fishing Port, District of Pati
This research is carried out with purposes to: (1) identify and analyze marketing system of fresh fish from Bajomulyo Port, (2) analyze marketing margin and efficiency, (3) analyze price correlation and market integration analysis, and (4) formulate recommendation for fresh fish marketing system to improve fisherman share. This research uses descriptive methods based on primary and secondary data. The primary data of the fisherman and the merchant is taken with Proportional Stratified Random Sampling and Purposive Sampling. The secondary data is taken from several government institutions such as Provincial office for Marine Affairs and Fisheries and Bajomulyo fishing port. Marketing system is determined by using descriptive approach based on structure and behavior market parameters. Marketing margin and fisherman's share are calculated by using buying and selling data on each marketing agent level. Moreover, market integration is analyzed using Pearson correlation method and regression model introduced by Martin Ravallion (1986) focuses on Eastern little tuna - Euthynus spp., Narrow barred king mackerell - Scomberomorus commersoni) and Indian mackerel - Rastrelliger spp. as the commodity
